The Coalition for Technology in Behavioral Science (CTiBS) is always looking for ways that we can contribute to efforts that innovate in applying technology to the behavioral sciences. As such, we are involved in a number of initiatives:
- Competencies Task Force is exploring ways to validate competency in various technologies related to Behavioral Health practice (telehealth, mHealth etc).
- Journal Task Force is creating an exciting new journal devoted to research and articles related to technology in the behavioral sciences. The Task Force has completed a journal proposal packet and is approaching journal publishers. It also is forming an Editorial Board. If interested in participating, please apply as outlined below.
- Webinar Task Force: CTiBS is beginning an initiative to create informative webinars on topics related to integrating technology with behavioral science. The first of these, currently in process, is to create a webinar on the topic of Tele-Supervision in collaboration with Divisions 18 and 22 of the American Psychological Association and with representatives from other fields of behavioral science as well in September 2015.
If you are a Charter Member of CTiBS and would like to apply to participate in any of the above initiatives (or have one of your own you’d suggest we look at) please apply by sending us the following:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A Cover letter that outlines your interest and expertise in the topic area
If you’re not already a Charter Member of CTiBS, it’s easy! Just head over to our Join Us page and sign up.
